Electronics Anonymous
Published by kfiducia November 17th, 2003 in News, va2.0It has come to my attention that i have become increasingly more addicted to the everything electronic - especially the internet. More noticably after i got my laptop. I find that I need my electronics all the time, and want the internet everywhere. In my car, in bed, in the shower. EVERYWHERE. I also see a majority of the population overly attached to their cell phones. I mean yeah they are convenient, but it gets a bit rediculous. So i am thinking. Is there a way to treat such an addiction. An “Electronics Anonymous” for people that just can’t deal with being unconnected? What we would do without these electronic wonders? Maybe have a life or socialize or worse … be productive. So as i start waning from the internet in favor of productivity you may all want to ask yourself what you are trading for modern marvels.
My friends are posting this for me.
I am Kelseys FRIENd and i tryed to get her to go on this site. but, she dosnt think that she has a problem. she is constintly on hers or our computers and if shes not texting or listining to music on her phones then shes on ours doing it. She really is not able to go without updating her myspace or checking her facebook. yes she has both. I really want her to get help and stop being so annoying with her electronics. I don’t think that she could go very long without electronics. she even reads with her phones flashlight.
please comment her and get her help!!
