Published April 24th, 2004 in News, va2.0, Uncategorizeddebian linux didnt install any kind of window manager propperly, so i started installing suse, which seemed to pick up my hardware better, then the install died due to a power failure. go figure, the first one in months right in the middle of the install. which was going really slowly cuz i was installing of an ftp - the net conn was too crapppy to dl the cds, not that that wokred any better. off to home depot to look for case building materials.
yeah thats pretty small, i think mine will be smaller.

Use Debian. Get Gnome 2.6. Make sure to install x11. ass.
