i got really annoyed tonight

listening to the few minutes i caught of the VP debate, last week Kerry was saying one thing when it sounded better for the argument andd switched again on another argument. Well instead of just throwing it out there and relying on my own memory. I went and browsed the trasncipts, sho ’nuff,

KERRY: And now we see beheadings. And we got weapons of mass destruction crossing the border every single day, and they’re blowing people up. And we don’t have enough troops there.

KERRY: What I think troubles a lot of people in our country is that the president has just sort of described one kind of mistake. But what he has said is that, even knowing there were no weapons of mass destruction, even knowing there was no imminent threat, even knowing there was no connection with Al Qaida, he would still have done everything the same way. Those are his words.

EDWARDS: And doing it the right way meant that we were prepared; that we gave the weapons inspectors time to find out what we now know, that in fact there were no weapons of mass destruction;

wait, so what is going across the borders? if there are no WMDs?

    That is a good question. What the hell is Kerry talking about? Bush sucks. Vote Dean.

    … no connection with Al Qaida, he would still have…
    So, Kerry was not contradicting himself there, in the second statement. He was quoting Bush on a hypothetical situation.

    Edwards, however, did contradict him. He shouldn’t've said the thing about the WMDs. There were no WMDs. We know this. Certainly none blowing people up. what the ass?

    i think his words were that he would have done things the same way. and the popular beleif is that there are no WMDs; so Kerry is making them up just so his argument will sound better.

    I, however, am not a commie when it comes to real politics. I don’t believe it works. nor do I believe Kerry is gonna win this one. shame, really. Edwards is a decent guy. saw his wife tonight.

    she’s looks thinner in person. I also saw the man in person for the first time. I’m talkin’ about Dean. he’s downright awesome. wish he were the candidate. you republicans should vote for him

    write him in. he probably would be the nominee if the crowd didn’t love him so much. he had to yell the last words of every sentance to be heard over the cheering and clapping. hence the scream
