I really couldn’t see John Kerry as our leader, he really doesn’t bring anything to the table except that he “isn’t Bush.” I don’t understand how a person can run on a platform such as that and expect to garner enough support to win. But then again, John Kerry didn’t win.
As I go through my Friends Page on LiveJournal, there are a lot of people that portray this election as the beginning of the end and that they can’t sleep at night now because of Bush’s re-election and the GOP control of Congress. What a load of crap. I can’t believe that these people claim to be “smarter” since they voted Kerry, while they’re spouting this Chicken Little The Sky is Falling bullshit. I’ve had fraternity brothers of mine berate me after I told them I was planning to vote for Bush. They tell me that I should reconsider my vote and that I would be dumb to vote for anyone but Kerry. First of all, its my own choice who I vote for, and no one else’s. Secondly, doesm’t the Liberal core belief system stress tolerance? How can you preach tolerance of another person’s beliefs and ideals as you tear into someone for who they vote for? That is hypocracy, pure and simple. I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t sounds like a model person to me.
Then they go off and say that Kerry will lead our country to a new era. “Hope Is On The Way” is a Kerry campaign slogan. You sit and wait right there and hope that someone gives you everything, no need to get up you’re too busy complaning about the current administration and cursing our soldiers that are dying for you every day keeping you safe. You want them there to uphold peace but you won’t give them the resources they need because you need free healthcare. But I guess that’s just what being a Liberal is about, sitting around and bitching and whining, hoping that someone else will solve the problem for you. In life, you are the one ultimately responsible for yourself, as it should be with the government. If you screw up or don’t make provisions for the future, its your own damn fault not anyone else’s.
If you seriously believe that our country is now in mortal danger, do something more than whine about how the Republicans have stolen your country from you.
P.S. Us dirty, lying, hateful Republicans will sneak into your house and slit your throat and crush your dreams while you sleep. Its a fact.
Well, I voted for Kerry as a purely tactical move. My hope that was with Democrats in office, the policies of this country would more closely reflect my own beliefs, und blah und blah. I can’t, however, say that masshole cocksucker got my vote on his own merits.
As for der Herr Bush, he won. I won 13 bucks and a half case of Pibber. The fiscal irresponsibility and social conservatism of our country’s current regime piss me off. Wasting loads of money and the lives of our compatriots in a effort to creat jobs for crooked contractors really sinks my battleship.

because that is the only dream world i can see, more and more people think that the government should pay for everything, like healthcare. what happned to working for and earnign things?
and the only reason you can trace back every nickel to the government is because they manufacture the nickels. the fact is you can trace every dollar the government spends to back to the hard working americans that pay their taxes. and the sad truth is, there are too many americans that live off those people. and it is because of blind liberals that don’t see the problems with their ideals. sure, you can cut people slack, but that just makes them used to it. if people weren’t allowed to step out of line they wouldn’t. the liberals condone the filth of society. how about liberal ideals with republican modifications, like you can live on welfare, but you have to pay it back. and it comes out of your paycheck after a certain period of time.
but honestly i don’t care what other countries or other people think of the US. we are the only country that stands for anything, the other countries sit there and whine about what we are doing, and that is it. so here is to bush for not sitting there whining that we were being attacked, standing up for the country, and standing up for some morals.
i don’t really care if gay people get married, personally i think they should be able to, but here is the problem, once you let your morals slip once, its done again, and it leads to the deterioration of people standing for or beleiving in anything. so although i don’t agree with all the rupublican morals, i will say, at least they have some.

actually there was no fiscal irresponsibility- the only reason we were out of debt was because Clinton raised taxes to the highest they ever were. Bush, as a start to change, helped to give some back.
and then went to WAR! which, in case you were unaware, is expensive! Fiscal and moral responsibility thrown like caution to the wind.
The tax break was cool, as the metaphoric anal lube to the assfucking that is war, well, I’m gonna go stumble to the shower. I feel dirty.
yeah a war is expensive…but the last time any country didnt decide to use military force because it ‘cost money’, they were occupied by germany in 4 days.

despite being quite the advocate for chaos (and I’m not talking number theory here), I’m mostly against the "war" in Iraq.

i have to agree here, if we left the terrorists alone, they only get stronger, and have more of a reason to attack, because we did nothing. if we give them nowhere to hide, we dont get hit.
and last i checked, we haven’t been since 9/11 so imo its working.
