my reply: I didn’t know that about the drowning thing, kinda interesting. Even more interesting would be what percentage of those people drowned in water, alcohol, vomit, etc.
Now those would be some interesting numbers.
And just FYI - those facts have nothing to do with spring break. Quote: “Possession of a fake ID is a felony.” I see no obvious correlation.
Why not “We wish to share a few facts about the dangers of drinking and remind you of Florida law.”
Spring break facts would be more like: 90% of College Students get drunk and think they are funny (88%), can sing (67%), can dance (79%), are much better looking than they actually are, especially with their zipper open and their boxers hanging out (65%). 62% will expect much more fun that actually have. Lastly, 12% will have already left for the break and will not be checking their email until after they get back from binge drinking themselves to death in a puddle of their own vomit.
So although your numbers may be more factual. Mine have much more to do with the topic claimed to be at hand, spring break.
