okay, so was the bit at the end with the salesman (Josh Hartnet) supposed to give us some insight as to what the girl in the beginning (the customer) was running from? I didn’t know if there was supposed to be some sort of link between the two scenes…
Aside from a few bits I would have liked to have seen done differently, such as Hartigan, after killing the rest of the family, finally go after the senator and not kill himself (thats not cool), the movie was really impressive. If you haven’t seen it, the film, albeit long, offers some crazy color timing effects, cinematography, a rather solid story line, some great talent, and was topped of by some really witty dialogue, a rarity for a movie with so much blood, even if the blood is white or yellow… which was quite interesting, different characters had different color blood.
I started to notice the movie was going for some great lines around the point the one girl said “I tied those knots, and knots are my specialty.”
Oddly, Carla Gugino, who played Lucille (the probation officer) is from SRQ.
god damn i think im the only person in the known universe who was waiting till tonight to see it
oh well, i should enjoy it.
