nice cards not valid
Published by kyle April 10th, 2005 in lifepoor poor josh, he’s had his car in the shop for the past two months it seems.
i got my car back on tuesday, then on wednesday the engine blew…so it wasnt exactly the best week ever…now i have to wait another 2 weeks or more to get my damn car back…the engine blowing wasnt my fault either, the car built too much crank pressure and caused the oil drain plug to blow off while driving on the highway, draining all my oil resulting in me throwing a rod….so now i have to wait for a new block to come…and for the shop to install it.
i think i might have thrown a rod at the guy that did it.
Yeah, it’s been quite hard times with my car as of late. It’s been in the shop since the 3rd week in january getting my single turbo kit installed. Finally they finish, I have the car for less than 24 hours and the damn engine blew. I am not having the best luck lately.
oh and to top it off that day was terrible, I was on my way home from work when the drain plug blew off, I had to pull off on I-4 and wait 2 hours for a tow truck to come. Then I get it towed to the shop, we spend a few hours cleaning the oil off the engine, then put a new plug and oil in. It seeminly starts fine and I drive it on mary way around 10:30pm. I get past the 1st toll on 408 and it throws the rod…aparently it takes about 10 miles for the rod to throw after u run it without oil or something. So I have to wait another hour or 2 for the same tow truck guy to come pick me up and take me back to the shop. So 180 dollars in towing fees and 7 hours of my day, after I had already worked 10 and i have a car with a blown engine. It really sucked. My only saving grace was that the amazing Lilly was downtown at chillers, which is near my car shop, and was able to come rescue me so I had a way home. What a day…
