tonight i officially made every reason i used to have to use a PC on a regular basis obsolete. on a mission to get a decent GPS program running for my dad on his new powerbook, i got my really nice windows GPS program running on OSX, well, emulated in windows on OSX, the performance hit isn’t too bad, the tricky part was getting the hardware working (read: easy when you find the obvious setup configuration). well, next step is converting my car_pc to a DC mac mini… oh, and for IMLocal to come out for tiger, you listening gavin?

for all you apple head, WWDC begins next monday, expect some new toys to be coming soon. im guessing the ibooks will be refreshed and some new ipod gadgetry. and probably a bit about podcasting… that sound about right?
