and when we do find time to be social, we run into so many idiot girls that don’t have a clue as to what the hell we are talking about half the time, don’t share many similar interests, and quite frankly have no interest in learning or anything halfway mentally challenging…. thats one cool thing about my major, its almost guaranteed that at least some percentage of the kids in the class, have a keen interest in at least learning, so if faced with a challenge, they don’t throw their hands up and say “you guys here that one about the blonde and the rabbi?”
Engadget has a story on a holographic data storage unit which will store 30GB for a dollar, with write-speeds 3x faster than BluRay. Drives right now estimated $2k, but that was about the cost of a CD burner when they initially came out. Now they are consolation prizes. I might finally be able to […]
it has come to my attention that some people, who will obviously remain nameless, have some sort of fear associated with my comment system. honestly, i get comments on my website daily from people who just refuse to use the comment system. my question is why. it isn’t like it publishes your email address, you […]

i have found this time away from aim leads to other useless, but more productive activities, for instance, i took the evening to run reports and projections on earnings into Q1 of fiscal year 2006. I knew that engineering analysis class would come in handy. Here are current sales from Nov -> today. If I run a second-order polynomial regression I get a projection like this:Running a logarithmic regression for daily sales amounts gets staggeringly similar results.
The initial hours without aim went pretty well, although, i ordered a book last week and it came i today, so that has kept me well occupied. It is really quite interesting, and i haven’t even past chapter one. reading is totally under-rated. Oh right, leave it to me, the perfectionist, to yet again change the […]
as good a time as any, as my exams are coming up, to try this little experiment i’ve been wanting to know about for a while now. i’ve decided to see what happens to my productivity levels as i break free of AIM for a week (tentative). so if you are wondering, no i’m not dead, haven’t […]
