site changes

i was reading a blog i saw linked from carthik’s blog, decided i liked the formatting, and decided i would go for a change. now the only thing i can’t figure out is how my RSS feeds broke, this happened without even changing anything, just switched themes and then switched back and BAM it was broken. anyway, i will probably try and fix that, as i liked seeing the feeds, or maybe it will push me to write that feed system i’ve been wanting to write (as if i have time :-/). regardless, there are some changes around here. you can now subscribe to follow-up comments so you know if someone replied to your comment, and some ajax afoot. when you see it, you will swoon. maybe thats just me. also there is a flikr feed, as much as i hate outsourcing anything, that pulls the latest pics depending on what i set as a search term, i’m thinking about making it display the tag, and allowing people to change it, i think that’d be neat. but just in case there are still some teenage minded readers, dad, i need to prevent my vag.com from having pics of well, anyway. comment up your thoughts.

I’m pretty sure your new design, as hatt as it may be, is lacking something. Oh yeah. images. one. eleventy-one.

as much as you hate outsourcing? Puh-leez. Did you write your CMS? nah, didn’t think so. Granted, your site hate at least twenty times as much content. I don’t really hate anything to post, though, so mine’s fine being sparse.

i think you mis-understood me. i don’t mind using code already written, if it is open-source, i mean, why reinvent the wheel, isn’t that how that cliche goes? at least i have control to change and modify the system then. if i don’t like something about flikr, i have to email yahoo! and add they will probably tell me to stick an exclamation mark right up my CVS repository. and i don’t have content either. i stretch thing content thinner, and it shows.
